Down at the Pier 2 Art District, one of the many warehouses is dedicated to the Kaohsiung Museum of Labor. The first things that grabs your attention are the huge images of Kaohsiung’s labourers drawn onto the front of the building. Inside are pictures, painting, sets, poems, and verses to celebrate labor struggles over the decades.

Although this exhibition is not massive, it is worth a visit and it will probably take about 20 minutes or so to look at everything in detail. There are numerous other exhibitions and galleries in this area, so it is possible to spend 1/2 to 1 day in the area. Wufu 4th Road and Hamasen are nearby for if food and drink are on the menu.

For those willing to walk or cycle 5 – 10 minutes, The Love River and Love Pier are also very near.
