The Taiwan International Orchid Show 2011 (TIOS) takes place in Tainan at the Taiwan Orchid Plantation (T.O.P.). The show will display rare kinds of beautiful flowers and plants. The event is expecting over 300,000 visitors.

Taipei is the seventh city to host this event where avid gardeners, horticulturists and tourists will be attending the show. An adult ticket costs NT$300.

A large music festival in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The Ten Drum Percussion Group & Tso’s Dance Association is playing on March 11th – 12th.

While in  Kaohsiung, visit the night markets, Liouhe Night Market is especially popular with tourists, walk around Sizihwan Beach and check out Kaohsiung’s nightlife.
