Guo Da Yeh Kaohsiung is an all-you-can eat Taiwanese Hot Pot restaurant. The price is NT$399 per person for as much fresh fish, fresh vegetables, meat (pork/beef), rice, noodles, Haagen Daaz ice cream, soft drinks and tea/coffee as you want. The restaurant is cosy and friendly. The seating are private booths which are very comfortable. It is a great place to go with a group of friends.
The idea is to share a hot pot. You can choose how spicy you would like the soup base to be. The hot pot is split into two so you can choose to have one spicy soup and one not so spicy. You then put the fresh ingredients into the hot pot to cook. The quality of the ingredients are very high and the service is very friendly. You can easily spend at least 2 hours eating there and they don’t seem to rush you. When you are ready you just take the bill to the till to pay.
English Service: Not yet, but there is usually a staff member with enough English to get by. The all you can eat price makes it a bit simpler to order.
