Kaohsiung Harbour is one of the most scenic and peaceful spots in Kaohsiung. Lush mountains provide a jaw dropping backdrop to the idyllic setting. There are many fishing boats in the harbour, and fishermen down at the sea front. This area is not crowded at all, but calm and tranquil. Cijin Island can be seen from the harbour.
