About KNS Language School Taiwan

KNS Language Institute was founded in 1995 by a husband and wife team. They offer Foreign Language teachers a comfortable working environment and a competitive salary. KNS is popular with foreign teachers as they offer a minimum of 30 hours between Monday to Friday, which means no weekend work.

KNS look for teachers that have a University degree, have a passion for teaching children and possess a passport from either US, Canada, UK Australia, New Zealand or South Africa. They will help you to look for accommodation on arrival.

KNS Language School are also a licensed Cambridge Examination Center that serves the southern Taiwan area.

KNS Pay and Conditions (2010)

  • Salary: NT$70,000 per month with a contract completion bonus.
  • Training: Yes and paid.
  • Hours: Classes will normally start from 2pm and finish around 9pm during weekdays only. You can expect to teach for about 30 hours per week.
  • Average Class Sizes: About 10 per class
